Dr. Joseph Tienstra became affiliated with Florida Radiology Consultants, P.A., in 1985, when he joined Smith, Hendra, and Gerson, M.D., P.A. Receiving his medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa in 1980, Dr. Tienstra went on to complete his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Aultman Hospital in Canton, OH. In 1985, he completed a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging and Mammography at the Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL.
Dr. Tienstra became board-certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1984, and is a member of the American College of Radiology, American Medical Association, Florida Radiological Society, Florida Medical Association, and the Lee County Medical Society.

In 1994, Dr. Geoffrey Negin joined Smith, Hendra, and Gerson, M.D., P.A. and has ever since been affiliated with our group. A graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine, Dr. Negin earned his medical degree in 1989. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. In 1994, he completed his fellowship in MRI and Neuroradiology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine as well.
Dr. Negin is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Society of Neuroradiology, the American Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, the Florida West Coast Radiological Society, and the Lee County Radiology Society. He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology.
A member of our group since 1994, Dr. Michael Weiss is a graduate of the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Hahnemann University Hospital, also located in Philadelphia. In 1994, he completed his fellowship in Pediatric Diagnostic Imaging and Intervention at Philadelphia's St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.
Dr. Weiss holds memberships in the American Medical Association, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Florida Radiological Society, the Florida Medical Society, the Lee County Medical Society, and the Society for Pediatric Radiology. Dr. Weiss is board-eligible with the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Mai Saif joined our group in 1994. She received her medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. From 1984 - 1993, Dr. Saif completed several residencies in: Pediatrics, Neonatology, Pediatric Cardiology, Medicine, and Diagnostic Radiology. She completed two residencies in Diagnostic Radiology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL, and the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Also at the University of Alabama, Dr. Saif completed her fellowship in Body Imaging in 1994.
Holding memberships in the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the American Roentgen Ray Society. She is also board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Greg Michaels came to our group in 2001 from a private practice in Southern California. He is a 1986 graduate of the University of Southern California School of Medicine. He completed his four year residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of California, Irvine. He is board certified with the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Michaels completed a fellowship in Interventional Radiology & Musculoskeletal MRI at the UCLA affiliated St. Mary's Medical Center. He later achieved a Certificate of Added Qualification in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Michaels is a member of the American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Florida Medical Association, Florida Radiological Society, Lee County Medical Society and the Lee Physician Hospital Organization.
Dr. John Rodriguez joined our group in July of 2002, after completing his fellowship. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. In 1997-2001, he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and in July 2002, he completed his fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging and MRI, both from the University of Miami School of Medicine.
Dr. Rodriguez holds memberships in the American Roentgen Ray of Society, the American College of Radiology, the American Medical Association, and the Florida Medical Association. He earned board-certification from the American Board of Radiology in 2002, and in 2004, he earned board-certification in Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Jeffrey Sonn joined Florida Radiology Consultants in July 2003. He earned his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, MO. In 1998 - 2002, he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Ohio University, and in 2003, he completed his fellowship in Body Imaging at the University of Florida.
Dr. Sonn holds memberships in the American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, and the American Roentgen Ray Society. He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Gail Santucci joined our group in 2007. She received her medical degree in 2001 from the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine in Cincinnati, OH. In 2006, she completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology and in 2007, she completed her fellowship in Neuroradiology, both from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
Dr. Santucci became board-certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2006. She is a member of the Florida Medical Association, Lee County Medical Society, Lee Physician Hospital Organization, American Society of Neuroradiology and the Society of Breast Imaging.
Dr. Louis Magas joined our group in 2008. He earned his medical degree in 2002 from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St Louis, MO. In 2007, he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He completed his Neuroradiology fellowship in 2008 at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
Dr. Magas received his board-certification from the American Board of Radiology in 2008. In addition, he received his Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology in 2010. Dr. Sharik Rathur joined our group in 2008. He earned his medical degree in 2002 from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. In 2007, he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and in 2008, he completed his fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology, both from the University of Miami at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL.
Dr. Rathur received his board-certification in 2007. He holds memberships with the Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, American College of Radiology, American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association and the Florida Radiological Society.
Dr. Cory Duffek joined our group in 2010. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago – College of Medicine in Chicago, IL in 2004. In 2009, he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and in 2010, he completed his fellowship in Neuroradiology, both from the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, WI.
Dr. Duffek holds memberships with Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, American Society of Neuroradiology, Florida Medical Association, Lee County Medical Society and Lee Physician Hospital Organization. Dr. Duffek became board-certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2009.
Dr. Jamal Ksar joined our group in 2010. In 2004, he received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, MI. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology in 2009 and in 2010 he completed his Musculoskeletal fellowship, both from Hendry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.

Nikhil Rajadhyaksha, MD joined Florida Radiology Consultants, P.A. in 2018. He earned his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in 2011. Dr. Rajadhyaksha completed his Transitional Year Residency in 2012 from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology Residency in 2016 from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Metro Detroit. He completed his Vascular/Interventional Radiology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI in 2017 and an MRI fellowship at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA in 2018. His interests in diagnostic radiology include general radiology, cardiovascular (coronary CTA and MRI) and prostate imaging. His interests in interventional radiology include interventional oncology and venous disease. Dr. Rajadhyaksha is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Lee County Medical Society and the Radiological Society of North America.
Dr. Christopher Johnson joined Florida Radiology Consultants, P.A. in 2017. He earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College of Rush University in Chicago, IL in 2011. He completed his internship in General Surgery at Saint Joseph Hospital in 2012. In 2016, he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and in 2017, he completed his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Chicago.

Dr. David Johnson joined Florida Radiology Consultants, P.A. in 2017. A graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN, Dr. Johnson completed his internship in General Surgery in 2012 and Diagnostic Radiology in 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in 2017 in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as well.
His interests include minimally invasive image-guided procedures to treat cancers of the liver, kidneys, and lungs, including chemoembolization, Y90 radioembolization, and percutaneous ablation. In addition, he also has a special focus on uterine artery embolizations to treat uterine fibroids in women, prostate artery embolizations to treat enlarged prostates in men, and sclerotherapy treatments for venous malformations in children.
Dr. Johnson is board certified in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North America, Florida Medical Association, and Lee County Medical Society.
Dr. Christopher Conner joined Florida Radiology Consultants, P.A. in 2016. He earned his bachelor's degree in 2006 from Vanderbilt University. He earned his medical degree in 2010 from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, TN. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology in 2015 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. In 2016, he completed his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga.
Dr. Conner specializes in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures with a particular interest in interventional oncology including treatment of tumors with chemoembolization, Y90 radioembolization, percutaneous cryoablation, and microwave ablation. Other areas of interest include treatments related to hepatic disease and portal hypertension including TIPS and BRTO, treatment of venous disease, peripheral arterial disease, aneurysms, kyphoplasty for the treatment of spinal compression fractures, uterine artery embolization for treatment of fibroids, as well as embolization for GI bleeding and trauma. He is also experienced in cardiovascular imaging, including cardiac CT and MRI.
He is board certified in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, Florida Medical Association, Lee County Medical Society, American College of Radiology-Florida Chapter, and the Radiological Society of North America.
Dr. Tyler McKinnon joined Florida Radiology Consultants, P.A. in 2019. He earned his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA in 2013. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC in 2014. In 2018, he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN and he completed his fellowship in Neuroradiology at Vanderbilt in 2019.

Dr. Terry Fox joined Florida Radiology Consultants, P.A. in 2020. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 2008. He earned a Master of Science degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC in 2010. He earned a medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC in 2014. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Georgetown-Medstar University Hospital in 2015. In 2019, he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami School of Medicine. In 2020, he completed his fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami School of Medicine.

Dr. Aaron Heligman was born in Chicago, IL and raised here in Fort Myers, Florida. He attended University of Miami for his undergraduate studies and pursued his medical degree at Rush University in Chicago, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his internship in Chicago and his Diagnostic Radiology residency, Musculoskeletal Radiology mini-fellowship, and Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami Health System. Dr. Heligman has particular interests in interventional oncology, venous disease, and minimally invasive spine interventions. Dr. Heligman is board certified with the American Board of Radiology in diagnostic and interventional radiology.
Dr. Joseph D’Alonzo joined Florida Radiology Consultants, P.A. in 2019. A graduate of Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, Dr. D’Alonzo completed his competitive Transitional Year program in 2014 at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in New York, and Diagnostic Radiology in 2018 at the University of Miami. He completed his fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at the University Of Pennsylvania in 2019. His interests include General Radiology with a focus on Oncology. In particular, he has expertise in the diagnosis of abdominal and pelvic malignancies such as Liver, Pancreas, and Gynecological cancers. He also has additional expertise in diagnosing Prostate and Breast cancers. Dr. D’Alonzo is board-certified with the American Board of Radiology. He is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North America, Florida Medical Association, and Lee County Medical Society. He is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Society and Phi Beta Kappa.
Priyanka Handa, MD is a native Floridian who completed her undergraduate and medical school training at University of Miami, residency at Albert Einstein in New York and fellowship in Breast Imaging at Emory. She has published many research articles on the evaluation of breast infections by ultrasound and mammography, pioneering research in 3D mammography and MRI evaluation of the spread of breast cancer. Dr. Handa is a diagnostic radiologist specializing in breast cancer imaging. Dr. Handa has worked to improve cancer care in the SWFL community since 2016 and serves as a board member of the Cancer Alliance Network (CAN).
